Buckets, breakers, hitches and trailers tracked like the machines they go on. Swap one on site and Burgy knows: the prestart, the hours and the history all follow.
How it works
Buckets, breakers, hitches, rippers and trailers sit in the Vehicle Registry next to your machines, each with its own history, parts and service records. Record who supplied it and how to reach them, and the specs you used to keep in custom fields.
Change from the bucket to the breaker from the machine's page, or from Home while you're running the machine. The old one goes back to the yard. The prestart asks about what's actually fitted, and the hours land on the right attachment.
Give an attachment its own prestart checklist and its checks come up inside the machine's prestart: the machine first, then each attachment. The top of the checklist lists what's fitted, so the operator can see it matches what's in front of them.
The attachment's page shows the machine it's on and the job that machine is on. Take it off and it still says where it was last. Where it's been lists every machine it's been fitted to, with dates.
Most implements have no hour meter, so set an attachment to be serviced by time instead and its countdown actually moves. Group parts that get replaced together, like teeth with their pins and retainers, and share an attachment with an outside mechanic so they can work on it wherever it is.
